San Juan, Puerto Rico - Next Thursday, August 17, 2017 will be held the event ¨Educating in a World of Project Based Learning¨, aimed at supporting professionals in the field of education in both the public and private sector from preschool to university level, in the implementation of high quality (high quality) Project Based Learning (PBL).

To assist education professionals using the PBL methodology, the Buck Institute for Education created a comprehensive, Gold Standards-based model to help teachers, schools, and organizations measure, calibrate, and improve their practice. In the PBL Gold Standard, projects focus on student learning goals and include Essential Elements of Project Design. Buck Institute's Chief Program Officer, Dr. Brandon L. Wiley, Ph.D., will lead the seminar. Dr. Wiley holds a doctorate in Educational and Organizational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania and has experience as a teacher, principal, superintendent, director of school improvement projects, and international education.

The event is free of charge and will be held at the Felix Ochoteco Jr. Hall of the Puerto Rico Bar Association in San Juan.
